Hand Blown Glass Containing the Artist's Breath
Seven permanently sealed blown glass forms contain samples of the artist's breath. These exhaled breaths were made in natural spaces of significance to Paul; being formative in his appreciation and understanding of the environment and ecological principles. They materialize the act of breathing and provide a focal point for meditation of the simple and complex biological processes that support us. The contained breaths act as symbols of both memory and life's essence.
